Arugula + Billy Charles at Franks Wild Years

Arugula are a 5 piece garage/psych band from Meanjin/Gubbi Gubbi (Sunshine Coast/Brisbane) country.

In June of 2023 the band released their  7 track EP that features a range of lo-fi psychedelic tones including floating organs, dusty mellotron and heavily reverberated and jangly guitar, whilst also referencing zamrock percussion beats, country twang and shoe-gaze fuzz walls. 

Since the EP has release the band has released 4 singles that sonically range from 60s garage pop tunes “Our Love is Back Again and The Orange Doo” to fuzzed out, tremolo steam trains “Bask In The Sun”, to afrobeat influenced trip “Be Open Now”
