Arvo Pärt: Kanon Pokajanen

Ensemble Gombert presents a performance of one of Arvo Pärt’s most significant choral works: Kanon Pokajanen.

Under the direction of John O’Donnell, the ensemble brings its trademark vocal precision to this monumental 75-minute masterpiece. Written for a cappella voices, the music is famous for its rich, bell-like harmonies and its ability to completely transform the acoustic space. This is a rare opportunity to hear one of the world’s most performed contemporary composers delivered with the clarity and expressive depth for which Ensemble Gombert is renowned.
