About the session: Are you considering top surgery, or just want to know more about what the experience is like? Our guest speaker Luka will talk to your about their lived experience of top surgery, and share their tips about what to expect, and what you can do to look after yourself before and after.

About the facilitator: Luka Ritter (he/they) is a queer transmasculine occupational therapist living in Naarm (Melbourne) currently working at Austin Health. They have experience in providing mental health, occupational therapy, and peer support services across many different organisations and settings including community outreach, inpatient and residential mental health, and hospital-based care. Luka is also a strong advocate for improving access to gender-affirming care services, and has completed research in the field.

Refundable deposit: There is a $15 refundable deposit for this session, and as long as you either attend the session or cancel more than 2 days in advance, you will be refunded this cost. If you do not cancel with at least two day's notice, or you do not show up, you will be charged the $15. If you are committed to coming to the session but the $15 fee poses a financial barrier, please contact us at affirmation@tgv.org.au.

Covid safety: So we can best look after our community, we highly recommend all event/service attendees wear masks. We have N95's and KF94's available. We have two air purifiers in the space, one of which (the Coway AirMega) is able to capture particles as small as Covid and can filter the air in our space twice per hour.
