Exhibition and Tickets
The 2023 Exhibition will be held at Wilkinson Gallery, Claremont Showgrounds, Gate 1 Entry, 1 Graylands Rd, Claremont WA 6010.
Entries can be in any art medium, though works are limited in size and weight: 1m x 1m and up to 5kg for two-dimensional works, and 0.5m3 and up to 10kg for three-dimensional works.
In 2023, artists will be invited to submit one entry, with all entries submitted being the artists’ original works and produced in the 12-month period prior to the entry closing date.
Entry is a two-part process. Firstly, entrants are required to submit this Registration, and secondly, entrants are required to deliver their artworks two days prior to the exhibition opening.
In 2023 there will be eight art award categories, each with a respective cash prize of $1,000, with all entries judged by a professional, independent visual arts panel:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Award (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrants only)
- Contemporary Art Award
- David Guhl Award for Artistic Excellence
- Patti Ferber Creative Development Award
- Regional Art Award (Regional WA entrants only)
- Rosalind Lewis Award
- Stephen Delower Memorial 3D Award (3D entries only)
- People’s Choice Award (as voted by the public)
The judges will also award up to ten Certificates of High Commendations for outstanding entries.
The Awards Presentation evening is on Thursday 19th October 5pm – 7pm at Wilkinson Gallery, Claremont Showgrounds.
Registrations for Artists
Open - 9am Monday 21st August 2023 and close 5pm Friday 29th September 2023.
Please note incomplete and late registrations will not be accepted.
Delivery of Artwork
1pm – 4pm, Tuesday 17th October 2023

You must pay your registration fee ($10) via the online registration.
Exhibition Opening and Award Presentation Evening
5:30 - 7:30pm, Thursday 19th October 2023,

Exhibition Opening Hours
9am - 2pm, Friday 20th October to Sunday 22nd October 2023.
Collection of Artwork
9am -12pm Monday 23rd October 2023

If artwork is sold during the exhibition, we will collect your payment details, and transfer your sale proceeds after the exhibition. If your artwork is not sold, you must collect your artwork on Monday 23rd October 2023 as it will not be stored.
