ASEAN is a significant economic and geopolitical region, comprising ten culturally diverse nations with varying regulations, languages, and business practices. While ASEAN has been well-known as a key player in global supply chains, offering opportunities for sourcing raw materials and manufacturing, it has increasingly become a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, and renewable energy in recent years.
The "ASEAN Connect: Global Markets for International Business" event is organised as an incorporation with SEA CAPE’s ASEAN business delegates travelling in Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Palmerston North and Wellington from the 13th to 16th of May, 2024.
Featuring three experts from Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, this event is to deepen the insights of how to do business with the ASEAN region, through navigating its diverse markets and regulatory landscapes, to leverage emerging opportunities for trade and investment between New Zealand and ASEAN markets.
