Join us on a unique historic steam train, stepping back in time enjoying a commute of the past.  

Step aboard a historic steam train for a unique journey back in time along the Alamein Line.  Relive the 20th Century commute with a trip from Ashburton Village to Flinders Street return.   Steam Rail Victoria will operate the heritage "Red Rattler" Tait train on 5 separate 55 minute round trip leaving Ashburton 9.48am, 10.56am, 11.56am, 1.56pm and 2.56pm

*PLEASE NOTE - Due to the age of the train there are some unique details for passengers to consider when booking tickets.

· The train is a shuttle running return to Ashburton.  You cannot exit the train at Flinders Street. 

· There are no toilets onboard due to the age of the train.  Toilets are available in Ashburton Square, corner of Welfare      Parade and High St, Ashburton.

· Prams can be accommodated, as long as they fold up.

· The train has difficulty accepting wheelchairs due to it's age, and is set up for passenger seating only.
