Join Michelle Freeman, Yoga Teacher, Zen Thai Therapist and Breathwork Facilitator with over 30 years of experience for an exploration of the therapeutic asanas, pranayama and philosophic principles of Ashtanga Yoga.
In this 3 hour workshop, we will explore the power of slowing down, connecting with the body and breath, providing space and an opportunity to connect within through a traditional practice balanced with a modern approach.
Push pause on life's demands and learn a traditional practice and approach to life that allows flow and freedom.
This Workshop will Cover:
- Balancing the energies of the body through the breath
- Spinal Integrity in twists, forward bends and backbends.
- Opening the heart through healthy backbends
- Key Principles of Yoga philosophy and how we can bring these principles into our daily life
- Simple pranayama exercises (breathwork) you can do everyday
- A Modified Primary Series practice with a focus on key poses.
Some yoga experience recommended.
