Asia House Briefing with Edward Hobart, Former UK Ambassador to UAE

Edward Hobart CMG, until recently the UK’s Ambassador to the UAE, will deliver an off-the-record briefing at Asia House on Tuesday, 23 June as the conflict in the Middle East poses continued political and economic challenges for Gulf states and their partners.

Mr Hobart, who has only just returned from his posting in the Gulf, will also share his perspective on UK-UAE ties following the signing of the much-anticipated UK-GCC Free Trade Agreement.

The briefing will be chaired by Michael Lawrence OBE, Asia House Chief Executive.
