Event description

Ask a Climate Scientist!

Join Nava Fedaeff for an update on NIWA’s latest climate change projections—what’s changing, what it means for Aotearoa, and how this science is already shaping real-world decisions. Bring your questions about climate science and get ready for a lively, practical discussion.

Wednesday 23 July at 12 noon for 1 hour,

with a follow-up Climate Cafe conversation at the same time on Wednesday 30 July.

A free event of Climate Mental Health Aotearoa, with thanks to NIWA.

Nava Fedaeff busts out of scientist stereotypes. She is the manager of Climate, Atmosphere & Hazards at NIWA and past President of the Meteorological Society of New Zealand. A forecaster, photographer and climate educator, Nava brings together the latest data with a passion for communicating with the general public.
