Want to ride with confidence, teach your child to ride or know how to keep your bike in good shape? Book a free individual session with Pedal Set Go’s experienced friendly bike educators — and get the hands-on support you need.

These sessions take place away from traffic, giving you the chance to try out your new skills in real life — whether that’s using your gears, sudden stopping, cornering, gliding, or checking your bike setup. It’s practical, inclusive, and just for you.

Need bike maintenance advice? Our friendly bike mechanic will be available to support you with simple repairs like fixing a flat, checking your brakes or keeping your chain clean.

Each session is tailored just for you (or you & a riding buddy). You’ll get one-on-one guidance or shared instruction if you bring a child, friend, or family member who wants to focus on the same topic.

📍 Event Details

Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm. Each session lasts 25 mins, pre-booking essential. A waitlist will be available on the day.
Location: Berry Reserve, Narrabeen NSW 2101
Cost: Free
Bring: Your bike if you’d like to practice or get help with it
Once fully booked, a waitlist will be available on the day from the nearby Council Road Safety team stall.

Learn to Ride Essentials (including how to teach your child, friend or partner)
How to start, stop, glide, and brake confidently
Understand how gears work for easy riding
Tips for carrying cargo by bike (groceries, kids or your dog)
How to plan low-stress routes from A to B
Choosing the right bike or setting up a second-hand one for comfort & confidence
Key maintenance skills E.g. fixing a flat or how to do a quick bike safety check
Any question you’ve been too afraid to ask!
