Ask Us Anything: Gas & Electrification

Join us for an educational evening to understand the role gas and electrification play within Geelong and Victoria’s future.

This event is run by Geelong Renewables Not Gas and is not an ABC event, but it is inspired by and in a similar format to the very popular ‘You Can’t Ask That’ show.' Experts will read out and answer community-submitted questions in front of the audience. The night allows individuals to ask questions they have long wanted answered or have been too afraid to ask. The evening will end with a panel discussion and a chance for informal networking.

You have a chance to submit a questions for the experts in the registration.

This event is inspired by the ABC's You Can't Ask That - a space where no question is too basic, too blunt, or too awkward. Our experts will read out and answer community-submitted questions live in front of the audience, followed by a panel discussion and a chance to connect with each other. Please note we will not be able to get around to everyone's questions but we will try and cover as many as possible.

• I've heard gas is pretty green,

• Cooking with gas is better, we can not go off it, what's the benefit of changing my cooktop?

• I'm a renter — can I do anything about my gas appliances?

• Does increasing gas supply make power bills cheaper?
