Event description
Presented by Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and Trinity College
A lark, a spark, and a serenade – these are the moments that will take flight in Ascend.
For one night only this June, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra returns to Gawler with an evening of orchestral charm and beauty.
At its heart is Vaughan Williams’ beloved The Lark Ascending, performed by Concertmaster Kate Suthers capturing every delicate note in a performance that soars. Be swept away by the sparkling wit of Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony, and the radiant energy of Montgomery’s Starburst. Add to this Strauss’ elegant Serenade and Mozart’s jubilant Haffner Symphony, and you have an unforgettable evening of orchestral gems that will lift your spirit.
Guided by the ever-engaging Julian Ferraretto, this special performance brings world-class music right to the heart of Gawler.
