In this workshop, Cecilia Freire from Creative Clay Studio welcomes you to come and paint a ceramic wheel thrown trinket dish or pot in this evening workshop! Learn a variety of ways of applying underglazes to a fired ceramic bowl, and create a personalised gift for you or your friends. Later to be baked in a kiln and returned to you with a glossy transparent glaze, making your design pop!

Workshop fee includes a food safe, handmade ceramic bowl (approx 10 cm wide by 5 cm high). Participants will be able to pick up their bowls the following week, after being fired in the kiln.

We are extremely thankful for the support of Christchurch City Council’s Enliven Places Projects Fund, which has allowed us to offer this class at a subsidised rate, and Life in Vacant Spaces for supporting our amazing space!
