Tutor: Kerry-Anne Murnane
An opportunity to create your own unique piece of art using paint and a basic backstitch.
Participants can expect to create their own colour palette from a selection of paints; design and paint their background; choose their design to stitch; learn how to stitch into their canvas to create their own work of art.
Discovering the pleasure in being creative and the togetherness of slow stitching.
All materials supplied.
Age suitability: 18+
Assembly Point is a 3 month pop-up in Cathedral Junction, 109 Worcester Street, Christchurch Central. We are located in shop 9/10, between the tram station and the barber shop! We are a collective of 40+ artisans from Christchurch as well as further afield in New Zealand. We have a shop space, workshop space and an artisan workspace in our lovely cosy little winter pop-up!
