ASSFEST is BACK! And BIGGER!!!

And we’re offering it to you, Melbourne...

Are you an erotic explorer keen to immerse yourself in community, connection and practise?

Or perhaps a curious newbie intrigued, excited and perhaps a little nervous to play with others?

We got you boo. We've designed our Melbourne ASSFest to be a choose your own adventure, a space of infinite possibility unique to you. You can go deep (hehe) or you can just pop in for an afternoon and learn some cool tricks.

We're all about that pleasure, but pleasure is political! We're on a mission to spread sexual knowledge, combat shame and stigma, and facilitate a shift in culture. We dream of a world in which we understand our bodies, own our sovereignty and claim our pleasure.

A little more about us...

ASSFest is a series of collaborations between a philosophically/ethically aligned collective of educators in the realm of the erotic, esoteric and embodiment arts from across Australia.

A two day immersion into intersections of consent, kink and sacred sexuality, our aim is to promote the holistic integration of these forms through the lenses of a variety of practices. We welcome diversity in our approach and forms held within a shared container of rigorous ethics and personal accountability.

OPENING NIGHT

We're planning a little shindig on Friday the 12th of April at a private venue close to the festival site. If you're a facilitator, helper, sponsor or attendee, you'll receive the details of this event a little closer to the date. Featuring performances by Kitty Obsidian and Infernal Desire Machine.

We're absolutely delighted by this lineup - a heady and diverse mix of beings from different aspects of the sexuality industry, coming together to share their knowledge and passion. You'll find workshops on consent, embodiment, intimacy, ecosex, kink, sacred sexuality, and all the colours of the rainbow!

RITUAL | CONNECTION & CONSENT GAMES | PERFORMANCES | PLAY

A space of exploration held by our ASSFest facilitators.

We'll begin with some juicy games around consent & connection before encouraging the energies to flow. Live performances by Precipice Malum, Esther Ogilvie and The Kinky Chef will tantalize you with possibility...

Please feel free to bring you favourite toys! We also highly recommend bringing a towel or sarong in case things gets messy…

OPENING & CLOSING CEREMONIES

You are welcome to join us for an opening circle at 9.30am on Saturday the 13th, and for a closing circle at 5.30pm on Sunday the 14th.

ACCESSIBILITY

1 Workshop space is at ground level with a step over a raised lip of a sliding door, with a bathroom accessible from the same room.

2 Workshop spaces are up a flight of stairs, and there are bathroom facilities on the 1st floor as well.

As well as sex positivity, we love diversity and all curious and respectful 18+ humans are welcome.

TICKETING

Financial transparency and profit share are key principles of ASS. Your ticket price ensures that our facilitators are paid fairly for their expertise, in an industry that is often undervalued. Purchasing tickets with your favourite facilitators event code will get them EVEN MORE!!!

We have opened up more volunteer tickets – working one day of the festival will get you a participant ticket for the other day.

We have limited discounted community tickets available for those in financial need. Please email australianschoolofsexuality@gmail.com for access to community tickets.

Transport and Parking info: The venue is an few minutes walk from both buses and trams. There is limited untimed parking in the area. If you are a ticket holder and require a bit more detail on the transport options please reach out!
