We got you boo. We've designed our Melbourne ASSFEST to be a choose your own adventure, a space of infinite possibility unique to you. You can go deep (hehe) or you can just pop in for an afternoon & learn some cool tricks.

🍑 WHAT THE HELL IS AN ASSFEST? 🍑

ASSFEST is the Australian School of Sexuality Festival. We're in our third year, this is our third festival & we are expanding gloriously...

ASSFEST is a celebration of sex positive culture, a convergence of educators, performers & representatives of the various Erotic Arts coming together to share knowledge, with each other & with you. It's an immersion into intersections of consent, relating, intimacy, embodiment, kink & sacred sexuality.

​You'll meet other curious explorers & experienced guides, learn new skills, & have a weird & wild adventure that just might crack open your heart & soul.

OPENING NIGHT | ASSES AT ACES | 15th of May 8pm - 12am

We’re holding an Opening Night party for our weekend IMMERSION on Thursday the 15th of May at Brunswick Aces. This will be a chill night of getting to know facilitators & attendees, with a few performances & probably a cheesy speech. If you're a facilitator, helper, sponsor or attendee, you'll receive an invitation to this event.

TEMPLE NIGHT / ASSEAF |  SECOND STORY STUDIOS | 17  May 7pm - 12am

A Temple Night occupies liminal space, tapping into ancient histories of public exploration of erotic connection. Drawing from stories of erotic ritual within ancient Goddess temples, Temple Nights are framed with reverence, intention and curiosity. This Temple Night will be devoted to Persephone, to the darkening, to welcoming the shadows… as is Persephone’s way it will also be filled with light, love and laughter…

​We'll open the portal to the Mystery together, in circle, before moving into some games of communication and connection. Performances will emerge throughout the evening, thrilling the erotic gaze, whilst our Temple Guides masterfully guide the energies...

We've been wanting to do an Australian School of Sexuality Erotic Art Festival since our inception SO WHY NOT DO IT ALL AT ONCE? Erotic films are a particularly political and contested territory. Our founders and some past facilitators have created erotic films, and it's part of our organisational ethos to bring different parts of the sexuality industries together into the same space. We're gonna share some of the very best international erotic art as well as some local gems.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

The venue is a few minutes walk from buses, trains & trams. There is limited untimed parking in the area.

ACCESSIBILITY

Two workshop spaces are at ground level with a step. One workshop space is up a flight of stairs. Bathrooms are available for use on both floors.

As well as sex positivity, we love diversity & all curious & respectful 18+ humans are welcome.
