Fagdyke or Fae? or the natural combination of the two? Ru Elliott is a queer and queer up-and-coming poet whose work speaks to desire, despair, devotion and debauchery in equal measure. Drawing on a rich tapestry of literary and artistic references, while her main love is fashion, she has recently started baring her teeth and her words at spoken word nights across Naarm’s northern suburbs. Is it cannibalism as a metaphor or will she really eat you?
