Assorted Sporks is now offering a writing group!

The first one is on Sunday the 9th of November from 1pm to 3pm in the bandroom at Mamma Chen’s.

What to Expect

Bring a Poem or work in progress that you would like feedback, or an ideas session with.

We will discuss how to give useful and friendly feedback.

We will have writing prompts for people who have gotten stuck, and exercises for people who are feeling a bit of writer's block. We will occasionally play a song for inspiration.

It will be fun.

You will get a chance to perform your work and to practise performing it. If it is a very long work, you might only get to do some of it, so everybody gets a turn.

Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds, and this is going to be accessible to everyone, but a donation of $10 would be great if people can manage it.
