Event description
We are very excited to help launch you into your astronomical journey! This course covers four topics, over the course of four weeks, as follows:

All weeks will include telescope viewing and training (weather permitting)
The course is held at Beverly-Begg Observatory and all you need to do is turn up at 7pm for class each Tuesday, we bring the rest!
There is a $40 fee per person for this course and places are limited. You can also get full society membership to the end of the 2023 season for a discounted additional $10.
This course is aimed at adults, teenagers, and families. If your school-aged child is very keen on astronomy, please also consider our Fun Science Space Club which runs at the observatory every Friday night during the school year from 7-9pm or a Family Membership to the observatory.
