ASTROFUZZ + DEATHCAP
Event description
Hailing from Bendigo Victoria, AstroFuzz summon a wall of sound drenched with reverb, dread and decay.
In 2024, they released their self-titled sophomore album, 'astrofuzz', a hazy journey into the heavier side of shoegaze. Their music shifts between towering sludge riffs and ethereal dreamscapes, highlighting the band's ability to meld crushing doom tones with introspective atmosphere. With reverb that echoes like footsteps in a forgotten chapel and distortion as thick as fog over grave soil, AstroFuzz deliver a sound that'a haunting, hypnotic, and impossible to ignore.
Formed in 2022 in Castlemaine Victoria, Deathcap began by jamming and writing songs in their school music room. After experimenting with different line-ups and sounds, Deathcap found their identity and began turning youthful obsession into a fierce creative drive.
Fusing the raw power of Queens of the Stone Age and Silverchair with the melodic grit of The Smashing Pumpkins, Deathcap deliver a modern edge to classic alt-rock, incorporating elements of stoner-rock, psych-rock, shoegaze and grunge.
Fueled by dense, guitar-heavy sounds and unfiltered creativity, Deathcap delivers their loud, unapologetic sounds hard and true.
