    Event description

    Join us for a night of astronomy and star gazing immersed in the World Heritage National Park, in the heart of the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden.

    Discover what the night sky teaches you with distinguished Astrophysicist Dr Ángel Lopez -Sanchez and one of our First Nations educators. 

    More than 4,000 planets have been discovered and tonight our team of experts will take you on a journey to these strange 'other' worlds. Powerful telescopes from the Northern Sydney Astronomical Society will allow a personal discovering into the world beyond Earth.

    A complimentary drink and light snacks are included with each ticket purchase.

    Recommended for children 12 years +

    This event will take place regardless of weather. In the event that the night sky cannot be viewed other activities will be set up for you to enjoy.



    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    • Purchase of a ticket online is final. Participants are required to bring a soft or hard copy of their online booking confirmation to the activity.
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellation of tickets purchased online.
    • A request for a date change can be made in writing no less than 72 hours prior to the program commencement time. The new event date must be within one month of the original booking date. Approval of a date change is at the discretion of the BGoS.
