Notice is hereby given for a Annual General Meeting of the Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS).

Meeting Procedures
This meeting will be staged in accordance with the Association’s Constitution and will commence at 5:00pm AEDT.
These requirements include, but are not limited to:
Attendance at the AGM will be recorded and be kept to ensure a quorum is present;
The acting president will preside as Chairperson; and if the president is absent or unwilling to act as Chairperson, another committee member present at the AGM will choose another Director to be the Chairperson of the AGM
If any member has items of General Business or Notices of Motion for this meeting, they should forward them via email to info@astss.org.au no later than 12pm (AEDT), 19th November

Nominations
Additionally, ASTSS calls for nominations of up to four members who wish to serve on the ASTSS Management Committee. To be eligible to be nominated, you must be a full, financial member of the society.
An eligible Member of the Association:
(i) may:
A. nominate himself or herself in writing; or
B. with the Member's consent, be nominated in writing by another Member; and
(ii) for the nomination to be valid, must be seconded in writing by another Member.
If you are considering nominating for the Board, we would welcome your interest using our nomination form. Download the form, fill it out, and then send it back to us at info@astss.org.au. Nominations need to be made no later than 4:59pm (AEDT), 19th November. Any nominations after this time will not be considered.
Special Resolution
As part of this AGM, we give notice to a special resolution to change our constitution to ensure it accurately reflects the current state of our society. These changes are minor and relate to wording of our society's structure, issues with quorum, and some clarifying statements on specific points. All of our changes are available through various documents. We have sent this to all of our registered members but you can request these if you require them.
