At the King's Pleasure Once More

Come and join Hobart's own lute virtuoso as he explores more music fit for Kings.

This time John Dowland, lutenist to Christian IV of Denmark and (after much effort and time) Elizabeth I of England, provides a collection of music both melancholic and gay. Robert de Visée, lutenist, theorbist and guitarist to Louis XIV will have you dreaming of Versailles and the opulence of the French Baroque.
