Description

Join us for a free Wildwood Hometown event held at Walter Hall, on the campus of Ohio University (25 S Green Dr, Athens, OH 45701) designed to support and empower female runners in their journey as people and as athletes. This experience will focus on key areas of Nutrition, Mindset, Confidence, Team Building, and navigating the journey of a female distance runner.

Specific topics will include

  • REDs (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport)

  • nutrition strategies

  • mental performance tools

  • body image,

  • bone and menstrual health,

  • leadership skills.

Attending this workshop will help athletes better understand their bodies and how to stay strong and healthy throughout their training. It will also help them be more confident teammates and leaders amongst their peers.

There will also be a session for coaches and parents only, which will discuss how best to educate and discuss female-specific health and wellness issues throughout the journey of young women runners.

This is a free opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired—reserve your spot and be part of this impactful Hometown experience.
