Fri, 9 May, 6pm - 8pm AEST

Event description

Join Yin Yoga Teacher Jac Keleher and Cellist & Vocalist Georgia Shine for a somatic exploration into the layers of your awake, breathing, human body.

This journey will weave together the practices of yin yoga, somatics & breath-work, woven with the embodied philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), poetic story-telling and a dreamy soundscape of live cello & voice.

As we merge into Autumn, this journey will explore the organ body’s direct relationship with nature, and the letting go process in this time that teaches us to recognise all of life as ephemeral. The practice will work specifically with the meridian channels of the breathing lungs and feeling the pulsations of life as it moves through continuous waves of expansion and contraction - a returning home to the vast, infinite space from which everything arises and dissolves.

The space will be transformed into a womb of light and colour to hold you in a deep experience of your inner and outer senses. Intuitive, ethereal sounds of live cello and vocals will weave throughout the entire journey to lovingly hold you inside of the wonder of what it is to be alive and awake in this human body.

Please note that spaces are limited and booking is essential.
