Hello @FirstName, thank you for registering for NUAA’s Peers and Consumers Forum 2022. The Forum is on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th of September.

Now’s the time to start getting yourself pumped up for the only conference in Australia that is run by people who use drugs, for people who use drugs!

The theme for the Forum is “Engage, Educate, Empower” and there are a bunch of awesome sessions for you to participate in!

Instructions for participating in person at the Forum:

Where and When to arrive:

Enter the NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre via 37 Reservoir St, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia.

On days 1 and 2, doors open at 8am, and sessions start at 9am.

Please arrive by 8.30am so you have time to sign in at our welcome table, and get a nametag and goodies bag before you find a seat. (You can arrive and leave any time during the forum).

If you’re a panelist or moderator, please make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your session.

Getting to the venue:

Public transport can get you within walking distance. Central Station is nearby, as are the 311, 320, 343 and 305 bus stops.

Paid parking is available within walking distance on Goulburn Street

All day parking is about $19 - $25 per day at these 2 places:

Food and drinks:

Light breakfast (available from 8am onwards), morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided for free. (Vegan and vegetarian options are available).

Tea, coffee and water are available all day.

There are also many cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Networking Event in the Heritage Room on Monday night from 6pm-8pm. You can also bring your friends. Entry is free, however, donations are appreciated. Snacks, canapes and drinks are provided for free. There is also a cash bar.

Toilets:

There are toilets on site.

WIFI:

There is WIFI available on site (the password will be given on the day).

COVID Safety:

Hand sanitiser is available on site.

Free masks are available if you want one — masks are recommended but not mandatory.

If you feel unwell, please go home — we can give you access to the forum online webinar stream.

We will also have RAT tests available for free.
