Event description

DR. JACINTA HUMPHREY - Urban Ecologist at ICON Science, RMIT University and creator of ‘Birds in the ‘Burbs’ - will lead us on a relaxed walk to help us consider how we each might work to attract more native birds to our neighbourhoods – a meaningful and rewarding challenge that enriches our daily lives, our sense of well-being, and deepens our connection to nature.

Jacinta’s research aims to find opportunities to enhance and create habitat for native wildlife in residential streets, urban parks, schoolyards and private gardens.
