And learn how to successfully pitch and present to raise capital from an expert panel in an open Q&A session?
Or just want to network with other likeminded folks on a similar journey?
We’ve got you sorted with our epic collaboration with Michael Philpott New Zealand’s # 1 Speaker coach and investment pitch coach.
You’ll also be joined by Carl Jones, Managing Partner of WNT Ventures who has hears pitches from startups on almost a weekly basis over the last 15 years, and will have crucial advice on how to make that sought after impression on investors.
Wendy Kerr, Global COO at Velocity Global, is the third member of the panel and will keep the other two on their toes!
Wendy has vast experience in global technology and media companies such as the Financial Times, Pearson, Quicken, Expedia, Betfair, IBM, Barclaycard, The Economist, and Fidessa either in leading or in providing bespoke solutions for staff development and culture change. Here in Aotearoa New Zealand, Wendy joined the University of Auckland as Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, transforming the Centre and enabling the University to be recognised as Entrepreneurial University of the Year in the Asia-Pacific. Wendy leads Global Marketing, People and Culture, and Organisational Effectiveness in her current role as Global Chief Operating Officer for fintech company Valocity.
We’re teaming up and bringing you Facilitated Networking, A Pitch Fest, and Pro Panel session.
Even if you aren't pitching, come along and meet some of the fantastic Auckland start-up community.
We will begin the evening with Michael’s famous facilitated networking
Then we’ll launch into the Pitch Fest with our selected five minute pitches with real time feedback.
Following the Pitch Fest the Pro-Panel will have an open discussion with Q&A for those burning questions you might have as an audience member.
It’s on Wednesday the 14th of September from 4pm until 6:30 pm, we are hosting at, 27 Drake Street, on the back of Victoria Park.
There is a small $10 entry fee – all the proceeds from tickets will go to cash prizes for the pitch winners! Â
