FUNDRAISER: Auditory Lens: Filming the Presence of Sound
Description
Sound is a rippling trace of presence, a source of identity, and an extra-verbal mode of communication. Auditory Lens will present a series of short films and experimental documentaries examining the sonic dimensions of memory, interpersonal connection, presence, and our own bodies.
Each film reveals a different way of understanding sound and the act of listening. Brought together, these works serve as a reflection on our relation to sound, and how it can be approached through the lens of film.

Echo (Ross McClean)
Echolocation (Nadia Shihab)
Hold Your Breath (Nour Sokhon)
Sound Seam (Aura Satz)
