When Shakti Meets Shiva: A Journey into Kundalini Awakening & Embodiment

Kundalini, often referred to as the dormant life force energy, resides at the base of the spine, waiting to be awakened. When activated, it rises through the body's energy centers (chakras), dissolving old blockages, igniting passion, and awakening a profound sense of presence and bliss. The dance between Shakti (feminine energy – fluid, creative, emotional, and intuitive) and Shiva (masculine energy – stillness, awareness, structure, and consciousness) is an eternal interplay that, when consciously explored, can lead to deeper harmony, empowerment, and wholeness.

In this transformational workshop, we will use a combination of bioenergetics, breathwork, movement, somatic meditation, and tantric embodiment practices to help you:

Shakti meets Shiva. She lives in everything— in the sky, the bliss of air. And so does Shiva live in her, in the earth, as his division.

Shakti and Shiva are always connected— in life and in death, in matter and in ether, in thought, in pure awareness.

She is the bliss. My body is a temple, a child of Shakti and Shiva, a child of vision, filled with bliss.

A child of matter, nurtured by the fruits of the earth, fed by the waters of the ground below, energized by the fresh air of the winds and mountains.

I am a child of the universe, in life and in death. This sacred union keeps on— moving, changing, dancing.

I am here as its witness, worshipping in reverence. Eros lives in my body as an expression of the divine life force in matter.

Bliss lives in my body as an expression of the divine life force’s vision of me. Both am I to bear, to listen to, to hold, to respond— not to control, but to be their humble servant.

Here I am, standing free, liberated from any thoughts, chores, or jobs to do.

Moved and unevaded, animated, listening, available— a servant of love and surrender. In this place, I find you, over and over again: plant, animal, sunshine, man, woman, lover, friend, child.

You are my family. I can be the silent witness— expanding beyond borders, limitless, free, without boundaries. I can be in conversation with my body, my heart, my soul.

I can be met in awareness— or I cannot. Either way, it doesn’t make a difference, because creation was and is always one.

About the Taste of Love Tantra School

About your Facilitator

Marion Ellyard is a passionate woman deeply devoted to the art of Tantra, embodiment, and deep connection. Since 2014, she has hosted and facilitated Australia’s biggest Tantra festival, the ‘Taste of Love Festival,’ and runs the Taste of Love Tantra School, where she offers a variety of retreats and programs. Marion is an ISTA faculty member, a certified counselor, a certified yoga and meditation teacher, and a practitioner of shamanic and bioenergetic bodywork, constellations, and somatic therapy.

With over 25 years of experience and more than 8,000 sessions given, Marion specializes in attachment trauma, intimacy coaching, and deepening connections within oneself and in relationships. Her passion lies in facilitating experiences that guide people toward greater expansion, happiness, energy, and wholeness.
