Description

This August Friends night we are meeting back on campus at University House. After 6 years of Hail remediation, restoration and refurbishment, the historic University House reopens in August, aligning with ANU's 80th anniversary celebrations.

Friends will gather in the foyer for celebratory refreshment, before a special tour of the heritage listed building, guided by University House staff and custodians of the ANU Art Collection. View the considered restorations and updates. alongside the newly restored collection of Fred Ward furniture, the Leonard French suite in the Great Hall as well as newly commissioned works by ANU School of Art + Design alumnus printed at Megalo Print Studio, + more!

Following the tour, Friends have the to option to dine together at Fellows restaurant.

Please note bookings are essentials for dinner reservations at Fellows bar and restaurant - final numbers are due Monday 24th August - please register early to avoid disappointment. Meals are optional and are not provided by Drill Hall Gallery.

While the Drill Hall is closed for roof remediation Friends events will take place at alternate venues on and off campus. If you require accessibility accommodations or a visitor Personal Emergency Evacuation plan please contact friends.dhg@anu.edu.au
