    Augusta Weekend Fiesta - Themed Bike Ride

    Event description

    Join Paul Sofilas and John Dekker for a  family friendly bike ride. Starting at the Ellis Street Ramp car park.

    “Augusta Aquatic” theme for bike/trike/cycle adventure!

    Frogmen, Fish, King Neptune and Mermaids all welcome!

    11-15yrs and a 6-10 year Age groups.

    Total ride will be Ellis st to Jays Beach Carpark and return to Ellis st.

    Section One…Ellis st Boat Ramp Car Park to Jays Beach car park.

    Section Two…Jays Beach to Colour Patch for Judging of best dressed categories!

    Colour Patch Caper ‘Dodgy Bike’ Challenge.

    Return to Ellis st!

    Departs at 1.00 pm and anticipate return by 2.30pm.

    A “Dodgy Bike” challenge course will be in place for interested participants at The Colour Patch Tuner st Judging area!

    Prizes will be awarded for…

    Best dressed in both age categories

    Most successful Dodgy Bike Challenge rider (both age Groups?) and possibly any interested observers!

    And … several other prizes drawn from a hat from the names of those that have entered!

    Registrations to be made by contacting ? CRC on 97580002 or registering on this site By 5.00 pm on the Friday 1/3/2024 with Numbers restricted to 20 participants per group!

    A second group may participate should the registrations indicate enough interest!

    Risk Management and Safety considerations are as follows…

    Leaders Tail End Charlies and other supervisors will carry hand held radios for Communications purposes.

    First aid kits will be carried by the leaders!

    Each participant is to demonstrate and ensure they have a …

    Current Helmet

    Working Brakes and Gears and adequate tread on their tyres!

    Participants with Medical conditions and requiring Medications are encouraged to ride with a responsible adult!

    Group leaders with Fluoro vests will ride ahead of the group to advise the general public of the Activity taking place!

    Parents to please indicate if they are available to assist with Supervision and support of those in either age bracket!


    Dress up your bike, ride on town bike paths and enjoy a morning out. Prizes to be won for the best dressed bike/person. 

    Appropriate footwear and bike helmet are required. Children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult. 

    This is a free event with limited spots. Please book your ticket.
