Step into a realm of authentic conversations as Aunty's House Beyond Taboos: Log Kya Kahenge? panel event returns for PRIDE FESTIVAL 2024 🏳️‍🌈 with the topic of 'Queerness in the South Asian community' 🙌


Join us for an evening filled with community, connection, and understanding. Break down taboos, share your stories, and embrace the power of inclusivity. 🎯 


Hosted at the vibrant Movespace, this special event invites the community to a thought-provoking panel discussion, accompanied by chai and snacks on the rooftop. 

Our panellists* will share their lived experiences and talk about how they navigate the complexities of queerness and how we bring more love and acceptance within the South Asian culture. 🌻 🗣️ (*Panelists to be announced on Aunty's House Instagram.)

⏰ Time: Arrival 4:00 PM, Kick-off at 4:30 PM, Wrap-up at 6:30 PM
📍 Where: MoveSpace, 473 Dominion Road, Mount Eden, Auckland 1024

Note on accessibility:

  • To make this event more accessible and inclusive for everyone, we would encourage you to stay home if you are unwell (we are happy to refund your tickets too). If you are unsure, please do a COVID-19 test before the event and wear a mask. 
  • The Movespace rooftop is only accessible via one flight of stairs - please reach out as we could arrange means to aid folks up. 
  • We are expecting to have around 60 people, so it might get a bit noisy. However, we will be abiding by the no clapping/flashing lights rule and will have some quiet spaces where you can take a break outside of the room.
  • If you have any questions or requirements, please contact us and we will make sure we accommodate!
