This summer, the legends are back! Nine piece Afro-Cuban legends Ausecuma Beats return to Oddio with their high-energy, infectious groove to lift you outta those seats and get those feet moving. You remember the last one! Those who know, know. 

The band will launch their third full-length album, Dakar Bamako, recorded over ten days in downtown Dakar, Senegal, with musicians from Mali, Senegal, Australia and Europe. The album is a true cross-cultural collaboration which celebrates stories of migration, cooperation and the unifying power of music as a force to bring humanity together.

Join Ausecuma Beats with very special guests SO.Crates on Saturday, February 3rd at Oddio to launch their new album. Selections by the honorary queen DJ Sharni (Porch Records/Summertown Studio) all night. 

Tickets $35 presale/$40 door via Music in Exile and Oddio. Food by Yellow Matter. Wines by Frederick Stevenson, Delinquente and Giovanni Armani Giorgio all night long. 

Music in Exile is a not-for-profit record label and registered Australian charity supporting musicians with lived experience of migration or displacement. Our organisation is artist-led, working collaboratively with individuals to realise their own vision according to personal wants and needs.
