Austin Home Editor's Preview | Fall 2026 + Open Studios at 1224 East 12th
Description
You’re invited to the Editor’s Preview of the 2026 Fall Issue of Austin Home — an evening of drinks, conversation and OPEN STUDIOS inside one of Austin’s most exciting creative campuses.
This very special issue celebrates the 40th anniversary of the AIA Austin Homes Tour with a deep dive preview. We also highlight our second inaugural class of Rising Stars, unveil our list of Austin's Best Architects and Interior Designers, and discuss whether Austin would benefit from an officially designated Design District.
Our venue for this Preview is at the heart of one proposed location for this district: the unparalleled creative campus, 1224 East 12th Street, designed and developed by Pollen Architecture. This complex is home to some of the city's most revered design firms.
And for this evening only, several studios across the campus will open their doors, giving guests a rare chance to step inside the spaces where some of Austin’s best design work happens.
