AUStism Sydney 2023
Event description
Now in it's third year, AUStism is back with a sensational line up of speakers! Join us for an evening of stories to challenge, inform and inspire… These are real stories from real people – funny, tough, compelling, bittersweet and guaranteed to stay with you.
Autism presents differently for every person diagnosed. It’s a ‘spectrum’ of experience, with many wonderful, and sometimes challenging, ‘shades’ for the people living with it and those who love them.
At Autism Awareness Australia, we are committed to raising awareness and understanding of all types of autism, and we are excited to host our AUStism speaker series again in 2023 with an incredible and diverse line up of national presenters.
They will be sharing their personal experiences and advice on topics like receiving a diagnosis, parenting a child on the spectrum, growing up autistic, relationships, navigating employment, advocating for yourself or your loved one, managing school… and so much more.
If you are a parent/carer, autistic teen/adult, family member, educator or simply interested in learning more about autism, this is an event not to be missed.
