Australasian Turtle Symposium

This symposium offers an opportunity for all those interested in turtle conservation to come together, share their knowledge and learn from each other.

This includes First Nations, community volunteers, environmental NGOs, government staff, researchers, students, wildlife carers, experienced turtle keepers, pet breeders, landholders, policy makers, ...

While it is mostly centred around freshwater turtles, we welcome all turtle nerds.

Conference will run from 8:30am Monday morning 28 September to 1pm Tuesday 29th in Adelaide, South Australia.

Optional field trip Tuesday afternoon to finish at 5pm, details TBC (this will hopefully be free but may include a transport cost).

We have kept costs as low as possible to enable a broad range of turtle lovers to attend.

Abstract submissions are now open and will close 5pm Friday 31 July for those who would like to give a talk, show a poster, have a display table or run a short workshop.
