Event description

Over the past six months, Aunty Mary Graham and Uncle Ross Williams have immersed us in their very compelling description of the Aboriginal Worldview. We are grateful for the clear and patient way they have laid out sophisticated concepts of Place, obligation, the ethos of relationality and many other elements of enduring First Nation society.

The Conversations are both illuminating and challenging, among a diverse and growing group of people who come together to delve deeply into Aunty Mary's writings and to talk directly with her about directions we can pursue and action that we might take to set a proper path for Australia becoming..

This Sunday, 20th October, Aunty Mary will work with us to closely examine the many ways in which the ethos of Autonomous Regard can build a stable, relational society of humans and other species, on Country.

The session will be highly interactive; Aunty Mary will set out the elements of the ethos and then guide us, together and in small groups, as we explore how we might apply it in our interpersonal relations, governance and diplomacy.

You’ll find us at BrisWest, 132 Latrobe Terrace Paddington. Come along at 12:45 for a cup of coffee or tea, before  a 1:00 pm start, a break for afternoon tea and a group discussion until we close at 4:00 pm.

There is plenty of on-street parking nearby.

Hope to see you there!
