Come along and enjoy terrific afternoon / evening at John Wearn Reserve to celebrate Australia Day !

Kicking off with an outdoor concert featuring Sri Lankan, Philippines and Indian cultural performances, and performers from the NorthBeat Music Academy.

Wonderful Australian-Italian singer Roseanna Gallo OAM will entertain you with all your favourite Australian songs.  

At sunset - enjoy Australian family movie "Paper Planes".  

All at the John Wearn Reserve Amphitheatre in the fresh air !

BBQ, a limited selection of food vans, coffee and cold drinks available for purchase.

Entry by ticket only - just $5 per person or $10 for a family of 5. 

All proceeds being donated to the Rotary Foundation - Disaster Relief fund.

This event is being convened by the Rotary Clubs of Beecroft, Carlingford & North Rocks, with the assistance of the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.

Conditions for entry:

Children need to be supervised by parents at all times.

This is a family friendly event and no alcohol is permitted.

A professional photographer will be taking photos at the event.  Should patrons not wish to be photographed please request a blue wristband upon entry.

Guests will agree to adhere to COVID-19 Guidelines and Public Health Orders.

Entry to the event site is subject to the Covid-19 Conditions of Entry as follows:

1) All entrants to the event site must wear a face-mask or hold evidence of a suitable exemption (NSW Health Regulation for Outdoor events). 

2) No singing or dancing is permitted by members of the audience (NSW Health Regulation for Outdoor events).

3) All entrants to the event site must check-in using the Service NSW Covid-19 Check-in App. 

4) For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, do not come to event if you:

• feel unwell or if you are displaying any of the Covid-19 symptoms as identified by NSW Health such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste

• have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days or are awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test

• are required to self-isolate

• have been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the 14 days before your visit to this event

5) Entrants agree to adhere to current physical distancing requirements and to practice good respiratory etiquette to help stop the spread of Covid-19 (hand sanitising stations are provided)

6) Audience members are to remain seated while at the event unless using the amenities or in the process of ordering or collecting food or drinks

Due to the evolving nature of the Covid-19 pandemic and legislation, requirements may change from one day to the next. Consequently, the event organisers may need to make changes to these Conditions of Entry from time to time.


What if it rains or there is strong wind on the day ?

A decision will be made on the morning of the event if the weather looks to be bad on the day, the concert and movie event will be held at the Roselea Community Centre, 645 Pennant Hills Rd, Carlingford NSW 2118.  This is a very large hall, well ventilated and with a terrific stage.  BBQ and food vans (limited selection) will also be available at this venue.
