Event description

Join us for a cinematic experience under the stars at our Australia Day Eve Open Air Cinema!

Bring your friends and family, grab a picnic rug and immerse yourself in the ambience of the outdoors whilst watching Australian movie 'Blueback' (2022). Rated PG. Find out more about the rating from The Department of Communications and The Arts. 

Thursday 25 January 2024 

Gates open at 5:30pm, movie commences at 6:30pm. 

Pack your own snacks or treat yourself to dinner from a variety of food trucks.

This is a free event. Please register for your free ticket ahead of your arrival - one ticket per person (including children). You will be required to present your ticket on the night (mobile preferred) to gain access to the event. 

The first 1,000 people through the gate will receive a free bag of popcorn!

Important details:

  • Camping chairs are NOT permitted on the grass. Low lying chairs with bar legs are permitted
  • This is a glass free and smoke/vape free event 
  • Dogs are NOT permitted at this event. Assistance animals are permitted, please contact the Events Team

Blueback (2022) - Rated PG

This movie is about Abby, a child who befriends a magnificent wild blue groper while diving. When Abby realises that the fish is under threat, she takes inspiration from her activist Mum, Dora, and takes on poachers to save her friend.
