Planned Visit of the Consul General of India, Sydney – Australia India Business Council (AIBC) Leadership to the Newcastle-Hunter Region

Janakiraman, the Consul General of India in Sydney, along with the distinguished leadership team of the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) to the Newcastle-Hunter region.

Over recent years, Australia-India bilateral trade and investment relations have strengthened significantly. With the Australia India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) in effect since December 2022, and both governments actively working towards the Australia-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), the scope and scale of bilateral trade between our nations is set to expand further.
