Planned Visit of the Consul General of India, Sydney – Australia India Business Council (AIBC) Leadership to the Newcastle-Hunter Region

In collaboration with Business Hunter and KPMG, we are delighted to invite you to an exclusive event marking the visit of Dr. S. Janakiraman, the Consul General of India in Sydney, along with the distinguished leadership team of the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) to the Newcastle-Hunter region.

Over recent years, Australia-India bilateral trade and investment relations have strengthened significantly. With the Australia India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) in effect since December 2022, and both governments actively working towards the Australia-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), the scope and scale of bilateral trade between our nations is set to expand further.

This visit will be an excellent opportunity to discuss and explore new avenues for cooperation and growth. We are honored to have the following esteemed guests in attendance:
