- Where does the money from ticket sales go?
As a registered charity, proceeds from ticket sales help HumanKind continue its mission of restoring faith in the kindness of humanity through storytelling, recognition programs, and community initiatives. Your attendance helps us celebrate kindness and inspire more of it across Australia.
- Can I nominate someone or vote for the People's Choice Award?
Nominations for the 2026 awards have now closed. The 15 finalists will be announced in September, with People's Choice voting opening from 31 October to 10 November 2026. Everyone attending the awards will be among the first to celebrate this year's winner.
- Auslan Interpretation Available
We want the Australia’s Kindest Person Awards Night to be a celebration where everyone feels welcome and included.
Auslan interpretation will be available throughout the Awards Night, with two professional Auslan interpreters supporting the event from the beginning of the official program through to its conclusion.
Our interpreters will support key parts of the evening, including speeches, award presentations and the Australia’s Kindest Person ceremony.
We’re also working closely with our event and production teams to ensure the interpreters are appropriately positioned and visible throughout the night, including consideration of the event livestream.
Attending and require Auslan access?
If you are Deaf or hard of hearing and would like to use the Auslan interpretation provided, please let us know when booking or contact our team before the event.
This will help us arrange seating with a clear view of the interpreters and make your experience on the night as seamless as possible.
