A world first, the Space Bridge has unlocked improved access to trade, investment and academic research opportunities, better advice to businesses and innovative bilateral collaborations. The arrangement enhances cooperation between the UK and Australian space sector to work on space-related activities, from sharing Earth Observation data to collaborating on robotic and artificial intelligence.

As part of the ASITII 2022 International Space Bridge Series, this special networking session will hear from senior Australian and UK space sector representatives on insights into how the Space Bridge is being applied and activated.

Getting There

The South Eveleigh precinct sits on the fringe of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from Redfern Station. It is just over 2km from Central Station, 5km south of the Central Sydney CBD and 8km north of Sydney Airport. It is also within easy walking distance of Sydney University and UTS Sydney.

Public Transport

Train
Redfern Station: South Eveleigh is just 200m from Redfern Station. Exit via the stairs at the southern end of Platform 10 and look for the South Eveleigh sign. Then walk along Marian St to Cornwallis St where you will find the Entry Garden. For wheelchair, pram and bike access, enter the precinct via the boardwalk on Gibbons St.

Central Station: If you are arriving from Central, the heart of the South Eveleigh precinct is just a 2km walk.

Bus
There are direct bus links from Sydney CBD and Marrickville Metro which stop in front of the South Eveleigh precinct. Both the 308, from Marrickville in the south west to Central and the 305 from Mascot to Redfern both pass close by to South Eveleigh. Alight on Botany Rd near Henderson Rd.
