Welcome to the 42nd Annual Conference of the Australian and New Zealand Law and History Society!
In 2023, the Australia and New Zealand Law and History Society Annual Conference is being hosted by the University of Southern Queensland.
The theme for 2023 is Intersectionality and Legal Identities, featuring keynotes by Professor Lisa Featherstone (The University of Queensland) and Dr Alana Piper (University of Technology Sydney). The Guest of Honour is His Honour Justice Thomas Bradley KC.
The 2023 ANZLHS Conference will take place between 30 November and 2 December 2023, hosted in hybrid format. The in-person conference will take place on the Toowoomba campus of the University of Southern Queensland.
Please register your attendance, either for the in-person or virtual conference, using Humanitix. Please note the separate categories for:

A featured panel addressing Indigenous Law and History will be held on the late afternoon of Thursday 30 November 2023. The conference dinner will then be on the evening of Friday 1 December 2023. This will take place at Urban Grounds, near the Toowoomba CBD.
