Australian Aphasia Association 14th National Conference
Event description
The Australian Aphasia Association has a national conference for people living with aphasia every two (2) years.
This conference is organised by:
- people with aphasia and their families,
- speech pathologists,
- researchers,
- and volunteers.
The conference helps people to:
- come together,
- share their stories,
- learn about aphasia,
- learn from each other.
Our 2023 conference will be in Perth, Western Australia. It will also be livestreamed.
You can join in person or online.
All livestreamed conference content will be available to all registered attendees, both in person and virtual, for up to three months after the event.
You can register for the conference on here by buying tickets for the venue OR for the weblink. You can also buy tickets for an additional event at Curtin University on the Wednesday after the conference. Weblink tickets are for individuals (in one household) only. If you wish to organise a "hub" or group of people (more than one household) viewing the livestream in one place, please email conference@aphasia.org.au with information on how many people in your hub. We will then provide you with a ticket link option for the correct amount of people and can offer a 20% discount per person in each hub.
The days of the conference at Telethon Centre are Monday and Tuesday only. Wednesday will be at Curtin University.
Full program information will be available very soon and will be emailed to registrants.
The weblink will be emailed to registrants 7 days before the conference.
