Australian Baroque Brass
Event description
Founded in 2003, Australian Baroque Brass is renowned as one of Australia’s finest early music ensembles. Led by baroque trumpeter and scholar, John Foster, the ensemble has pioneered the use of period brass instruments in Australia. It is amazing that they have agreed to perform for us in Braidwood, a once only opportunity to hear this celebrated ensemble. The program, Courtly Musick, includes such classic works as Handel’s ‘Eternal source of light divine’, ‘Let the bright seraphim’, Scarlatti’s ‘Arie con sola tromba’ and J.S. Bach’s ‘Sheep may safely graze’. For more information, visit their website: https://www.baroquebrass.com/
