Event description

Join one of our dedicated volunteer guides at the Garden in a guided tour of the Australian Plant Bank.

These walks are designed for individuals or small family groups of up to 5 people and total numbers for each walk are currently capped at 15 people.  Please book to ensure your place on the walk. NB: Only 5 people per customer booking/email address will be permitted. Walk-ups on the day will only be taken if there are places available.

For larger groups, community organisations, workplaces or NDIS providers we can run private tours -charges and fees apply. Please contact us at tours.info@botanicgardens.nsw.gov.au

As this is a science and research facility, tour content is most suitable for ages 12+

There is no charge for the walk but we do welcome your donations. Cash or card accepted onsite or please donate at time of booking. 


The Gardens is a Not-For-Profit.  Over 60% of our funding is self-generated including donations.  By attending this event and making a donation, you are ensuring that the Botanic Gardens remain places of outstanding horticultural beauty, scientific institutions at the forefront of research, and important centres for learning and education.  Our work is vital to addressing some of the most critical environmental challenges facing the world today.
