The Australian Technologies Competition is Australia's national Competition, growth and partnerships program designed to identify and accelerate homegrown scaleups with global potential.
This year we are delighted that the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is sponsoring the first National Climate Technology Awards to be held in Melbourne on October 27th. This year’s program is being delivered in partnership with Impact Tech Ventures (ITV) and Greenhouse, its parent company Investible and its Climate Technology Fund.
At this event, prior to the announcement of the 2022 Climate Technology Awards winners. The ceremony will see a welcome by Minister for Environment and Climate Action, The Hon. Lily D'Ambrosio. Followed by an entrepreneurs panel hosted by Investible Climate Tech Director Tom Kline.
There will be ample time for networking following the formal proceedings.

More about the Australian Technologies Competition:
From the time of its inauguration, the Competition has created an alumni pool of more than 350 semi finalists, many of whom have had significant international success. The Competition brings experienced entrepreneurs, business builders, angel investors, venture capital funds, commercialisation experts, leading corporates and government representatives together with founders, in a collaborative coaching environment. It has a strong focus on equipping founders with the skills, contacts and resources to develop and manage high growth companies in challenging international markets.
Greenhouse is an innovation ecosystem with the mission of accelerating the collaboration, adoption and impact of climate technologies on a global scale. Greenhouse focuses on connecting the dots for organizations, innovators, government and academics to collaborate and co-innovate the solutions we need for climate action.

Where is River’s Edge?
18-38 Siddeley Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. River’s Edge is located in the World Trade Centre (riverside). The World Trade Centre can be accessed from Siddeley Street as well as the banks of the river.
Where to Park at River’s Edge Care Park?

Getting to River’s Edge by Tram
Tram 96 towards St Kilda Beach– Comes down Bourke St, left into Spencer St – get off at stop 124 (Batman Park). From there, cross the tram tracks, and head towards the Crowne Plaza; veer left towards the river, and skirt around Crowne Plaza, keeping the river on your left Walk past the Wharf Hotel, and enter the glass automatic doors to the World Trade Centre (WTC). River’s Edge Events is located directly on your left as you enter the building.
Tram 112 towards St Kilda - Comes from Spring Street, all the way down Collins Street, turns left into Spencer Street– Also stops at Batman Park – directions as above
Tram 109 towards Box Hill – Comes from Spring Street, all the way down Collins Street, turns left into Spencer Street – Also stops at Batman Park – directions as above
Tram 70 towards Waterfront City – Docklands – Comes from MCG, down Flinders Street – Crosses Spencer Street, then get off at stop D6 (Victoria Police Centre). From there head towards the World Trade Centre (WTC) Precinct. Enter through the automatic doors, veer right past the escalators, continue past the food court area, and just before exiting the building on the river side, River’s Edge Events is located on the right. We will have signage located here.
