Introducing the inaugural Australian Geographic Awards for Nature presented by Rachel Ward with a Q & A showing of Rachel’s Farm, the heartwarming film of Rachel’s foray into the muddy, unpredictable world of organic farming.
Don’t miss this special opportunity to see Rachel Ward’s brilliantly funny movie, and to meet the legendary actor herself. The night kicks off with the presentation of the first ever Australian Geographic Awards for Nature. Grants totalling $100,000 will be presented to three innovative conservation projects tackling urgent issues like biodiversity and habitat loss, feral invasive species and climate change.
After the awards presentation, the film Rachel’s Farm will be shown followed by a Q & A with Rachel Ward hosted by Chrissie Goldrick, event emcee and Chair of the Australian Geographic Society.
